The fuel market in Ukraine is changing rapidly. Since the beginning of the war, drivers have experienced both a sharp rise in prices for all types of fuel and, for a period of time, a fuel shortage. In 2023, the fuel market is predictably expected to see price increases, primarily due to the return of the taxation system to its pre-war level. Prices will rise by at least 20%, which will likely trigger an inflation process in other sectors, including transportation.
The increase in demand for fuel, including for generators, also accelerated the rise in fuel prices at the end of last year.
According to the State Statistics Service, in December of last year compared to December 2021, A-92 petrol rose in price by 68.6%, to 50.0 hryvnias per litre, A-95 petrol — by 68.5%, to 51.3 hryvnias per litre. Diesel fuel increased in price by 85.7%, to 55 hryvnias per litre. Automotive gas rose in price by 52.3%, to 29.1 hryvnias.
The Fuel service is available on the Avtoprod website
The goal is convenience for drivers. The service allows you to quickly estimate the cost of any trip in your car or a car you are planning to buy. You need to specify the gas station where you usually fill up, the region or city where that station is located, the type of fuel (petrol, diesel, etc.), the approximate or exact fuel consumption rate, and the distance you plan to travel — in a second, the calculator will compute the cost of that trip for today, taking into account the current fuel price at your favourite gas station in your region.

In this section, you can monitor the average fuel price in Ukraine, track whether it is rising or falling, and perform more specific analysis by selecting the region and gas stations you visit.
